The
Puy du Fou
The
Puy du Fou is a famous medieval attraction which includes impressive
amphitheatre with chariots and fighting gladiators, jousting knights on
horseback, falconry and much more. You will need to book the spectacular
evening show in advance. Highly recommended!

This
excellent and very famous attraction at Le Puy-du-Fou, makes a
great day out for all the family. Performances throughout the day of
falconry, jousting, magic and music, demonstrations of rural crafts and
atmospheric reconstructions of a Norman fort, a medieval town and an
18th-century village. May to September.

Gladiators
In the middle of a 115-metre long stadium, the gladiators stand ready
for battle, the wild beasts are released into the arena and the chariots
charge forward in their headlong race. Experience the legendary Roman
circus games!
The Phantom Bird Dance
The memories that haunt the ruins of the mysterious old castle come back to you.
Dozens of birds of prey surge out of the ghostly dovecote and the forgotten
dungeon for a uniquely fascinating ballet in the sky.
The
Medieval City
Go over the drawbridge and into the fortified city where you will
discover all the rich variety of the Middle Ages, the know-how of
craftsmen, etc. At the foot of the ramparts, enjoy the antics of the
Minstrel Magician.
The Battle of
the Keep
It’s 1429 and you are guests at the Grand Chivalry Festival of the Puy
du Fou. Suddenly, giant war machines appear and the Keep becomes the
scene of a fierce battle. This incredible show features equestrian
feats, duels on horseback and impressive stunts.
Richelieu's
Musketeer
Come and watch the rousing adventures of “Richelieu’s Musketeer”
in a giant 17th century theatre. A fantastic swashbuckling show filled
with dashing swordplay, flamenco ballets, daring horseback feats and
original special effects. The most stunning spectacle ever performed in
the Grand Parc.
The Vikings
Surging from the water and roaring flames, the fierce Nordic warriors interrupt
the wedding of Aldéric and Cybèle and attack the peaceful Fortress from the
Year 1000. At the foot of the watchtower the combat rages in a deluge of special
effects.
The 18th Century Village
Let yourself be charmed by the cheerful atmosphere of this colourful village and
meet our craftsmen: the potter, the blacksmith, the cabinetmaker, etc. Visit the
wash-house and listen to the heady airs of the traditional musicians who will
lead you on a merry dance.
The
Market Town in the 1900
Plunge back into the warm atmosphere of the old shops of the Market Town
in 1900. In the bustling streets the municipal town crier reads out his
“Notices for the Townspeople” and musical automatons speed up the
rhythm from windows. You are back in 1900!
The
Forest
Come and get your breath back between 2 shows in the shade of the Puy du
Fou Forest. Take a break to discover the 1000 animals in the Grand Parc
and the dozens of games and shows for all the family. The Puppet
Theatre, the Jumping Jets, the Brass Quintet, the Water Organs, the
Water Theatre…let your children draw you into their fun-packed games!
Cinéscénie
Justifiably regarded as the greatest sound and light show in Europe,
this glorious summer open-air "late evening" entertainment at
Le Puy-du-Fou, near Les Epesses, uses sophisticated special effects to
tell the history of the Vendée. You will need to book this show in
advance.
